DESCRIPTION:The EDC Essentials course builds upon the skills found in the Holster Fundamentals course and on your personal experience. This course focuses on the more complex thinking on your feet required for defensive carry. This course will take you out of the comfort zone of what you think you know and present you will real-life scenarios and judgmental shooting. This is a 7-8 hour class not including lunch. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n·        Drawing from Concealment \n·        Accuracy with shooting the first shot from concealment \n·        Learning our warm-up drill \n·        Multi-round shots & follow-through \n·        Reloads and malfunctions under timed induced stress \n·        Shooting under timed induced stress and follow through assessment \n·        Judgmental shooting \n·        Introductory movement  \n·        Executive protection techniques for your family. \nEquipment and supplies required: \nThis class requires eye and ear protection and at least 300 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use. \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders. \nA quality strong-side holster (open or concealed) that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters\, purse holsters permitted) AIWB is ok. This class incorporates concealment.  \n$250.00

DESCRIPTION:CCW Law and legal: \nDuring this non-shooting course we will review the basic components of legally Concealed Carry Weapons\, mental/situational awareness\, interactions with law enforcement and how to properly plan for before and after a self-defense conflict. All necessary paperwork will be provided and your application and fingerprint cards will be completed during class. Following the completion of the course you will be able to submit your completed packet to DPS for a Concealed Weapons Permit issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. \nClass Prerequisites: \nProper Photo I.D.  This is not a shooting course. \nPositive attitude and participation \nCourse tuition is $50.00
