SUMMARY:Precision Rifle II
DESCRIPTION:PRECISION RIFLE II:\nLong Range Applications\n\n\n\n\n\n   DCS Precision Rifle II takes the basic information you learned in the Precision Rifle I class and now teaches you how to apply those skills on targets at distances up to 600 yrds away. Students will work in pairs to understand spotter/shooter roles and responsibilities. Students will learn how to create range cards\, perform range estimations using their scope and apply ballistic calculations to adjust for windage and elevation to accurately engage targets with 1st round hits on target. Students will also learn holdover techniques to speed up their target engagements. \nInstructors: All instructors for this course are required to have NRA Certifications and/ or have prior Military\, Law Enforcement or competitive shooting backgrounds \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nTrue Elevation adjustments and travel with their optic\nBullet Drop compensation\nSetup and placement\nRange Cards\nRange estimation\n\nClass Prerequisites: \nCompleted DCS Precision Rifle I or instructor exception \nEquipment and supplies required: \nRifle (you must bring your own). 100+ rounds of quality match grade ammunition with the same lot #’s. Magnified rifle optic. Shooting mat recommended but not required. Caliber of .223 or higher.  Eye and ear protection \nCourse tuition is $150.00

DESCRIPTION:PRECISION RIFLE I:\nPrecision Fundamentals\n\n\n\n\n\n   Long-range rifle shooting is about precision engagement of small or distant targets that challenge the limits of your equipment\, ammunition\, and your own capabilities while under time and/or field pressures. This is the first\, of 3 classes focused around long-range shooting. This 8-hour class will focus on the equipment\, tools and skills required to lead you to successful long-range shooting. \nInstructors: All instructors for this course are required to have NRA Certifications and/ or have prior Military\, Law Enforcement or competitive shooting backgrounds \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nRifle construction\nAmmunition\, Optics\, Ranging targets\nCalibers\nAncillary gear\n\nClass Prerequisites: \nPositive attitude and willingness to learn \nEquipment and supplies required: \nRifle (you must bring your own). 100 rounds of quality match grade ammunition with the same lot #’s. Magnified rifle optic. Shooting mat recommended but not required. Caliber of .223 or higher.  Eye and ear protection and a segmented cleaning rod. \nCourse tuition is $150.00
