DESCRIPTION:   Long-range rifle shooting is about the precision engagement of small or distant targets that challenge the limits of your equipment\, ammunition\, and your capabilities while under time and/or field pressures. This is the first\, of 3 classes focused on long-range shooting. This 8-hour class will focus on the equipment\, tools\, and skills required to lead you to successful long-range shooting. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nRifle construction\nAmmunition\, Optics\, Ranging targets\nCalibers\nAncillary gear\n\nEquipment and supplies required: \n   Rifle (you must bring your own). 100 rounds of quality match-grade ammunition with the same lot #’s. Magnified rifle optic. A shooting mat is recommended but not required. The caliber of .223 or higher.  Eye and ear protection and a segmented cleaning rod. \n$250.00

DESCRIPTION:DCS Precision Rifle II takes the basic information you learned in the Precision Rifle I class and now teaches you how to apply those skills on targets at distances up to 600 yards away. Students will work in pairs to understand spotter/shooter roles and responsibilities. Students will learn how to create range cards\, perform range estimations using their scope and apply ballistic calculations to adjust for windage and elevation to accurately engage targets with 1st round hits on target. Students will also learn holdover techniques to speed up their target engagements. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nTrue Elevation adjustments and travel with their optic\nBullet Drop compensation\nSetup and placement\nRange Cards\nRange estimation\n\nClass Prerequisites: \nCompleted DCS Precision Rifle I or instructor exception \nEquipment and supplies required: \n  Rifle (you must bring your own). 100+ rounds of quality match-grade ammunition with the same lot #’s. DESCRIPTION:The Defensive Pistol I  course introduces shooting with proper use of cover and concealment that might be found in your home or when out in public. Fighting with your pistol while the family is present adds a new level of stress and discomfort. In this class\, you will learn how to expose your opponent without exposing yourself. This class is a 7-8hr class not including lunch.  \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nWill include a review of all previously learned skills \nAll work will be done from concealment\nReloading & malfunction drills \nShooting from cover/concealment\nThe movement to and from cover/concealment\nFamily member protection concepts\n\nClass Prerequisites: \nStudents MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear before attending this course. Successful completion of Pistol 3 EDC Essentials or equivalent. Failure to meet these guidelines will prohibit you from attending the course.  \nEquipment and supplies required: \nThis class requires eye and ear protection and at least 500 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders \nA quality holster that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse. Must cover trigger guard\, must not be loose. Must allow an unassisted return. AIWB is ok. This class incorporates concealment.   \n$250.00
