DESCRIPTION:Defensive Pistol I\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Home Defensive Concepts course introduces shooting with proper use of cover and concealment that might be found in your home or when out in public. Fighting with your pistol with family present ads a new level of stress and discomfort. In this class you will learn how expose your opponent without exposing yourself. This class is an 7-8hr class not including lunch.  \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nWill include a review of all previously learned skills\nAll work will be done from concealment\nReloading & malfunction drills\nShooting with cover/concealment\nShooting on the move\nFamily member protection concepts\n\nClass Prerequisites: \nStudents MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear prior to attending this course. Successful completion of Pistol 3 EDC Essentials or equivalent. Failure to meet these guidelines will prohibit you from attending the course. \nEquipment and supplies required: \nClass requires eye and ear protection and at least 500 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders \nA quality holster that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse. Must cover trigger guard\, must not be loose. Must allow unassisted return. AIWB is ok. This class incorporates concealment.

DESCRIPTION:PISTOL 2: Holster Fundamentals\n\n\n\n\n\nHolster Fundamentals builds upon the skills found in the Precision Pistol course. This course focuses on precision and speed from the holster. This course will teach you exercises to help you become proficient with drawing your handgun quickly and accurately place rounds on target. Our goal is to get you down to 1.5 seconds before end of class. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nProper methods to draw from the holster with retention\nAccuracy with shooting the first shot from the holster\nMulti-round shots & follow through\nAppropriate sight picture at various target distances\nShooting under timed stress and follow through assessment.\nOur goal is to get you below 1.5 sec from the holster.\n\nEquipment and supplies required: \nClass requires eye and ear protection and at least 300 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders \nA quality holster that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse.
