DESCRIPTION:Defensive Pistol II is our most advanced pistol fighting class that incorporates dynamic movement to and from your intended target using proper cover and concealment. This 7-8 hour class builds upon the skills found in the Defensive Pistol I course in one day and includes hands-on dry-fire practice and live-fire drills with low light conditions. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nAll previously learned skills will be reviewed and verified\nMultiple flashlight techniques\nDynamic low light shooting techniques\nWeapon retention and fighting for the gun\nBreaking contact with physical and verbal judo\nRoom clearing concepts\nLive fire exercises that incorporate reactive targets\n\nClass Prerequisites: \nStudents MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear prior to attending this course and have successfully completed the Home Defensive Concepts course or equivalent. \nEquipment and supplies required: \nThis class requires eye and ear protection and at least 500 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use. \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders. \nA quality strong side holster that has two points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters\, purse holsters\,). AIWB is ok. A handheld flashlight that uses a momentary switch only\, not an on/off switch. This class incorporates concealment the entire time.

DESCRIPTION:PISTOL 2: Holster Fundamentals\n\n\n\n\n\nHolster Fundamentals builds upon the skills found in the Precision Pistol course. This course focuses on precision and speed from the holster. This course will teach you exercises to help you become proficient with drawing your handgun quickly and accurately place rounds on target. Our goal is to get you down to 1.5 seconds before end of class. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nProper methods to draw from the holster with retention\nAccuracy with shooting the first shot from the holster\nMulti-round shots & follow through\nAppropriate sight picture at various target distances\nShooting under timed stress and follow through assessment.\nOur goal is to get you below 1.5 sec from the holster.\n\nEquipment and supplies required: \nClass requires eye and ear protection and at least 300 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders \nA quality holster that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse. DESCRIPTION:The 2-day EDC Essential Pistol course takes you outside the static range environment. We begin Day one with essential pistol precision skills\, speed\, and precision out of the holster\, before applying these principles to concealed carry. \n On Day two we turn to malfunction management\, various reload proficiency drills\, and dynamic movement drills. We will finish day two by using judgment to engage multiple shoot\, no shoot targets while moving using time induced stress. \n Each class is tailored to the student in attendance regardless of background or experience. Multiple instructors will be on hand to provide a one on one experience through each process of learning. \nClass Prerequisites: \nStudents must have the basic skills required to safely load unload and operate their firearm without any assistance. Students MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear prior to attending this course. \nEquipment and supplies required: \nThis class requires eye and ear protection and at least 800+ rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use. \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders. \nA quality holster (open or concealed) that has secure belt points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters\, purse holsters permitted) AIWB is ok. This class incorporates your concealment garment.
