DESCRIPTION:This Nationally recognized 8-hour course teaches the basic knowledge\, skills\, and attitude necessary for the safe ownership and use of a firearm. \nPrerequisite: None \nDescription: The comprehensive course teaches basic safety\, cleaning\, operation\, and function of various types of firearms & ammunition. How to safely operate them at the range and engage 4″ targets out to 25 ft. It consists of both a written and shooting qualification test at the end of class to verify that learning has taken place and you will be issued a nationally recognized certificate which is accepted by most states as proof of training to obtain your CCW. \nEquipment required: A pistol\, a magazine\, 2 boxes of ammunition\, eye and ear protection. Pen and paper to take notes.
