SUMMARY:Precision Rifle III @ Arch Angel 10/09-10/2021
DESCRIPTION:This 2 day class combines what you have learned in the DCS Precision Rifle II and will add more complication to push you further than you have ever shot before\, 1000+ yrds. Students will work in pairs to review spotter/shooter roles and responsibilities. Students will review range cards\, perform range estimations using their scope and apply ballistic calculations to adjust for windage and elevation to accurately engage targets with 1st round hits. Students will also learn holdover techniques to speed up their target engagements. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nTrue Elevation adjustments and travel with their optic\nBullet Drop compensation\nSetup and placement\nRange Cards\nRange estimation\nWindage adjustments\nTruing your ammunition\n\nClass Prerequisites: \nCompleted DCS Precision Rifle I and II OR with instructor exception. \nEquipment and supplies required: \nRifle (you must bring your own). 200+ rounds of quality match grade ammunition with the same lot #’s. Magnified rifle optic. Shooting mat recommended but not required. Caliber of .308 or higher.  Eye and ear protection.

DESCRIPTION:PISTOL 2: Holster Fundamentals\n\n\n\n\n\nHolster Fundamentals builds upon the skills found in the Precision Pistol course. This course focuses on precision and speed from the holster. This course will teach you exercises to help you become proficient with drawing your handgun quickly and accurately place rounds on target. Our goal is to get you down to 1.5 seconds before end of class. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nProper methods to draw from the holster with retention\nAccuracy with shooting the first shot from the holster\nMulti-round shots & follow through\nAppropriate sight picture at various target distances\nShooting under timed stress and follow through assessment.\nOur goal is to get you below 1.5 sec from the holster.\n\nEquipment and supplies required: \nClass requires eye and ear protection and at least 300 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders \nA quality holster that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse.
