DESCRIPTION:NRA PPITH Student/ Instructor Course \nShort Description: \nThis 16-hour course teaches the knowledge\, skills\, and attitude essential to You and your family’s personal protection inside your home. \nMore Details: \nNRA PPITH basic student course which is now required and will give instructor candidates the ability to see the course taught properly. This course takes a full two days to properly learn everything. This class continues with Basic pistol shooting skills and includes a large component into law and legal. \nNRA PPITH Instructor Course takes an additional two days. This allows the TC to spend a thorough amount of time observing and critiquing instructor candidates on how to properly teach and Improve your students. \nPrerequisites: NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Certified \nStudents: Should have taken some basic pistol training courses before. Should be familiar with your firearm. \nInstructors: Prior to the instructor training\, candidates will have completed the student course and will complete a pre-course questionnaire\, demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises which includes a shooting qualification. They must be able to show the Training Counselors that they have a HIGH LEVEL of proficiency in safe gun handling. SUMMARY:2 Day EDC Essentials Course @ Compass 11/20-21/2021
DESCRIPTION:The 2 day Essential Pistol course \, takes you outside the static range environment. We begin with essential pistol precision skills\, speed and precision out of the holster\, before applying these principles to concealed carry. We then turn to malfunction management and dynamic movement drills. We will finish day two by using judgment to engage targets under critical time standards. Each class is tailored to the student in attendance regardless of background or experience. Multiple instructors will be on hand to provide a one on one experience through each process of learning. \nClass Prerequisites: \nStudents must have the basic skills required to safely load unload and operate their firearm without any assistance. Students MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear prior to attending this course. \nEquipment and supplies required: \nClass requires eye and ear protection and at least 800-1000 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use. \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders. \nA quality strong-side holster (open or concealed) that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters\, purse holsters permitted) AIWB is ok. This class incorporates concealment.
