This course takes a full 1.5 days to properly learn everything. This class continues with PPITH shooting skills and includes a smaller component into law and legal. The primary focus of this course will be drawing from the holster w/wo Concealment\, Cover and Concealment\, Barrier shooting\, Movement\, Low light shooting exercises. \nNRA PPOTH Instructor Course takes an additional 1.5 days. This allows the TC to spend a thorough amount of time observing and critiquing instructor candidates on how to properly teach and Improve their students. The Pistol Precision course is designed for those who have been shooting for a while but need to learn how to be more accurate. This course focuses on precision and speed from the holster. Our goal is to get you down to 1.5 seconds before end of class. \nFocus areas within this course include: \n\nProper methods to draw from the holster\nAccuracy with shooting the first shot from the holster\nMulti-round shots & follow through\nAppropriate sight picture at various target distances\nShooting under stress and follow through assessment\n\nEquipment and supplies required: \nThe class requires eye and ear protection and at LEAST 200 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use. \nA quality holster that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse. SUMMARY:2 Day EDC Essentials Course @ Arch Angel 12/19-20/2020
DESCRIPTION:The 2 day Essential Pistol course \, takes you outside the static range environment. We begin with essential pistol precision skills\, speed and precision out of the holster\, before applying these principles to concealed carry. We then turn to malfunction management and dynamic movement drills. We will finish day two by using judgment to engage targets under critical time standards. Each class is tailored to the student in attendance regardless of background or experience. Multiple instructors will be on hand to provide a one on one experience through each process of learning. \nClass Prerequisites: \nStudents must have the basic skills required to safely load unload and operate their firearm without any assistance. Students MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear prior to attending this course. \nEquipment and supplies required: \nClass requires eye and ear protection and at least 800-1000 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use. \nSemi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders. \nA quality strong-side holster (open or concealed) that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters\, purse holsters permitted) AIWB is ok. This class incorporates concealment.
