This 7-8-hour class is the first class in a series that will help you learn basic fundamental skills using a military carbine for close-quarters personal protection both inside and outside the home. This class has a great pace and will use both dry-fire and live-fire exercises.
Focus areas within this course include:
- Conventional shooting positions
- Speed reloads and Magazine exchanges
- Malfunctions clearances
- Live-fire drills using controlled pairs, speed drills, multiple target engagements and identification
Equipment and supplies required:
Rifle with sling, three (3) 20 or 30-round magazines, dual rifle magazine pouch or carrier, knee pads (optional but highly recommended), closed-toe shoes or boots, 500+ rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection
